Signing of an agreement to establish a safe passage for the transfer of Afghan refugees between Canada and the UAE

By signing an agreement with the UAE, Canada made it possible to create a safe passage for the transfer of Afghan refugees who fled from the T.a.li.ban. According to this agreement, Canada will resettle 1,000 Afghans.
Of course, this program is for Afghan citizens who escaped from the Taliban and are now living in the UAE.

According to Canadian Immigration Minister Sean Fraser, a safe exit from Afghanistan is still a big challenge for the Canadian government.
He emphasized that this mission will be successful with partners such as the UAE and Canada is grateful for the country’s cooperation.
The Canadian government is committed to resettling at least 40,000 Afghans

According to Fraser, the Canadian government is sticking to its commitment to resettle at least 40,000 vulnerable Afghans.

In this program, vulnerable people including women leaders, human rights activists, ethnic and religious minorities, wanted persons and journalists are included.
Canada’s immigration minister says: “Our effort to resettle in Afghanistan is one of the most important and difficult efforts in Canadian history, and we are committed to taking advantage of every opportunity to support vulnerable Afghan citizens and move them to a safer life in our country.”»
