The new WhatsApp update protects you from phone calls and cyber attacks

According to Meta Company, a new feature has been added to the WhatsApp software, which makes it impossible to find people through phone calls.

This tool called “IP address protection in calls” does not allow unwanted information to be transmitted to callers.

With the update of the new version of WhatsApp, phone calls are made only in two ways, peer-to-peer and WhatsApp base. Users can choose one of the two calling methods by going to the settings section and be sure that their information will not be transferred to others.

In the peer-to-peer method, phone calls are made directly from two phones and are of high quality. In this method, two phones must know each other’s IP address.

In the second method, through the WhatsApp base, the user’s IP address will be hidden, which makes hackers no longer able to access people’s information. This information is very useful for hackers and other fraudulent people who can use it to access people’s location and internet providers, but now with the update of the new version of this software, this possibility will no longer be available to them.

According to WhatsApp, the new version of this program will be useful for people who are very sensitive to their privacy, but in terms of call quality and connection speed, this version may be a little lower than the previous version.
