Women who maintain their weight can live up to 100 years

According to the Washington Post, a study of 54,437 women showed that women who managed to keep their weight stable throughout their lives lived longer.
This analysis, published last month, proves that by keeping a constant weight, it is possible to continue living until the age of 90 to 95 and even 100 years.
The women who were examined in this analysis were born in 1932 and before that the researchers realized that their weight was stable in the third and tenth years of this research. In this study, they found that maintaining a constant weight throughout life can increase the probability of living to 90 and 100 years by 2 times, even more than those who lose weight.
Among these people, women who had more than a 5% change in their weight had a 33% lower chance of surviving to age 90. Also, these people had a 35-38% lower chance of surviving to 95 and 100 years old than other people.
The chance of living up to 90 years for people who had unintentionally changed their weight was 51% less than other people.
According to the researchers, no relationship was found between weight gain and longer life for these people.
Of course, they say, so far not enough research has been done in the field of weight loss and longer life, but to get the required information, more studies should be done among people of different races and ethnicities in the world.
