What time of day does exercise have the greatest effect on weight loss?

According to NBC News, exercise between 7 and 9 in the morning has the greatest effect on weight loss.

According to Tongyu Ma, a research assistant professor at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, according to new research, the best time to exercise is early in the morning, before eating. At this time of the day, more weight loss occurs compared to other hours.

They used data from the Centers for Disease Control’s National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, which was collected over a two-year effort.

This information is related to the lifestyle habits, nutrition and exercise of more than 5 thousand 200 people, the youngest age among them is 20 years old.

These data prove that the body mass index (BMI) of people who are physically active in the morning is lower than others.

But why does weight loss happen better at this time?

One of the most important factors that make weight loss happen better in the morning is the molecular clock.

Cameron Mitchell, an assistant professor of kinesiology at the University of British Columbia, Canada, says in this regard: Every body cell, including muscle, has a molecular clock that triggers specific bodily functions such as fat metabolism at different times of the day.

Based on preliminary evidence, physical activity adjusts this clock and returns it to its natural rhythm, which is very beneficial for metabolic health.

There is another explanation that says that physical activity in the morning, especially before eating, causes the loss of a large amount of fat in the body.

This is because no one can eat anything in their sleep, so they have no energy in the morning and fat burning happens by exercising.

According to experts, anyone who plans to exercise for the purpose of losing weight and burning fat, it is better to do it in the early hours of the morning so that the effect is greater, but it should be noted that exercise alone is not enough and having a proper diet is also necessary.
