In addition to Pakistan, now India and China also wanted to buy Afghan coal, which is one of the best coals in the world. The officials of Taliban say that India and China have announced their readiness to buy this traditional fossil fuel.
According to the officials of the Ministry of Mines and Oil of Albania, the government of Albania plans to expand the coal market. Ismatullah Burhan, the spokesman of the ministry, announced that China and India have submitted a request for the purchase of coal to the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, and they have also requested that Taliban find a safe way to transport this mineral.
It has been said that Taliban consider the Chah Bahar route suitable for exporting coal to these two countries.
This group intends to establish a laboratory to improve the quality and bring it to global recognition and present it to international markets.
However, Chah Bahar port in Iran is not economical for these two countries due to the long distance to China and India, and on the other hand, Pakistan is a fierce competitor in the purchase of Afghan coal.
But Pakistan has reduced its imports due to the increase in the price of coal by Taliban in July of this year. Al-Alban increased the price of one ton of coal from 80 dollars to 200 dollars. Due to this price increase, the price of electricity also increased in Pakistan.
Taliban increased the price of coal while he knew that Pakistan was in dire need of it. Pakistan also used Afghan coal to produce cement, but now due to the inability to buy it from Taliban, the cement factories of this country have faced serious problems.
Afghanistan’s coal mines are located in a belt from the north to the southwest of this country. According to Russian geologists, the total amount of coal in Afghanistan reaches 400 million tons. But Taliban stated that there are 113 coal mines in Afghanistan. At present, only 5 coal mines have been exploited in Afghanistan, and the largest one is Dara-I-Suf mine in the north of the country.
