The James Webb Space Telescope was able to discover the most similar planet to Earth. NASA named this planet LHS 475b. This planet is the same size as Earth and 41 light years away from Earth. LHS 475 b is located in the constellation Hashtak and is hotter than Earth.
This planet was previously observed by other telescopes, but because James Webb has high accuracy and uses newer and more powerful technology, it has made scientists and astronomers say more confidently about their observations.
The similarity of this planet to Earth means that its distance from the Sun is greater, so that life may form on its surface.
James Webb is the only telescope that is able to report accurate information about the differences in weather and seasons and the possibility of life.
